Trading & distribution

Trading, that is the efficient distribution of energy around the world, is at the core of our business. Every day we trade over 7 million barrels of crude oil and products, buying from producers and delivering to refiners, wholesalers and distributors worldwide.

Production

Yk Western Oil And Gas  has a focused presence in oil and gas production.

Our total output of circa 70,000boepd is focused largely across two key geographical areas; West Africa and the US. Sankofa Gye Nyame is our flagship project, 60km offshore Ghana and developed in partnership with Eni.

Refining

Yk Western Oil And Gas  is invested in over 550,000 barrels a day of refining capacity in Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East, giving us a comprehensive understanding of the short and medium-term challenges facing refiners, from sourcing optimal feedstock to managing the energy transition.

Storing and blending

We own over 17 million cubic meters of storage capacity, which coupled with significant leased capacity, means we can store and blend bespoke combinations to deliver optimal feedstock and products, responding to an ever-changing market.

Shipping

Our shipping expertise is integral to our trading business, enabling us to move energy around the world, safely and efficiently. Through our company, YK Western Oil And Gas International Shipping, we control and operate a fleet of vessels which operate globally.

Downstream

We are invested in downstream and distribution assets with circa 7,500 retail sites globally, as well as the associated infrastructure. We also supply jet fuel into wing at circa 150 airports worldwide.
